Twitter Writer Tobyasky demands apology, N500M damages from Tacha over alleged false rape accusation

Toby Emmanuel, a writer on X (formerly Twitter) has taken legal action against former Big Brother Naija housemate Natacha Akide (Tacha) over an alleged false rape accusation.

On April 10, Toby shared a cease-and-desist letter addressed to Tacha via his X handle @Tobyasky.

The legal action follows a recent allegation by Tacha, describing Toby as a rapist and trafficker after a series of disagreements on the platform.

The letter, filed by Toby’s counsel requests Tacha to delete all the defamatory allegations and publish a written and video apology. He also requested for N500 million as damages for the character assasination and injury caused by the allegations.

Per the letter, Tacha is expected to comply with the demands within seven days or face a lawsuit.

Meanwhile, Toby noted that he has also reported the case to the UK Police. As such, the former BBN Housemate will face a lawsuit whenever she enters the UK.

“Whatever country she enters and I’m aware, we shall run the cases concurrently,” he added.
