A Nigerian man is considering breaking up with his girlfriend after she opposed a 50/50 bill sharing on Twitter.
The story shared by Twitter (now X) influencer @Adamthallith revealed that the man is considering a separation from his partner after selling his properties to plan for their Japa.
According to the influencer, the man sold his car in January and his landed property between February and March. The sales represented efforts to raise funds for him and his partner to relocate to the United Kingdom (UK).
However, the issue emerged after the lady commented under a post that she cannot split house bills with a man.
The response followed a trending post from another X user highlighting how she shares their bills in the UK with her husband equally on a 50/50 ratio.
Meanwhile, social media users have already begun urging the man to proceed with the breakup, arguing that he will likely have issues if they relocate abroad together.
