The Nigerian Federal Government has officially opened the portal for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country to register for its ₦1 billion grant award.
The portal opened on April 7, 2026 will be closed on May 7, 2026. However, the grand finale of the awards will be held on June 27 to commemorate the United Nations World MSME Day.
According to reports, the Federal Government intends to distribute ₦1 billion among 100 MSMEs across the country.
The government explained that the grant is intended to provide businesses wirj direct funding tailored to the Jr immediate operational needs. Grant winners will also gain access to mentorship programmes coordinated by relevant government agencies. Additional perks also include post-award support like business advisory services and market access opportunities.
Notably, the grant will cut across 12 categories including manufacturing, agriculture, textiles, creative industry, innovation, alongside wellness, beauty, and cosmetics. It also includes leather works, furniture and woodworks, people living with disability, and

- CAC registration document
- And other relevant certificates.
