The Comptroller General (CG) of the Nigerian Fire Service Olumode Samuel Adeyemi has set tongues wagging on social media over his lavish convoy during a visit to Kogi state.
The video shared by the Fire Service on X highlighted the CG’s visit as part of efforts to build a Fire Station in Kabba.
Notably, the video featured a convoy of several vehicles and has now gotten Nigerians surprised at the overall excessiveness.
Social media users argued that the convoy showed serious insensitivitiess to the country’s current economic ploghts. They also argued that the lavish convoy contrasted the agency’s actual effectiveness at their work.
