The Nigerian DJ (NDJ), an acclaimed governing body responsible for the management of DJs in Nigeria has prohibited members and non-members from playing Burna Boy’s song over recent fracas with DJ Tunez.
Per the association’s statement;
“Burna Boy Music is temporary out of any of our DJs playlist till further notice, our team will carry out a proper investigation on last night incident that happened to one of our own, DJ Tunez.”
While investigations are ongoing, the group urged all DJs to be vigilant and respectful to all artists in their various events.
The NDJ’s statement follows report of a fight between Burna Boy and DJ Tunez at Obi’s House. Though details of the fight remain sketchy, social media users alleged that the incident is an overflow of issues which began online.
Meanwhile, DJ Tunez has accused Burna Boy of hitting him in the back of his head when he was not looking.
He added that he defended himself despite being attacked by ten men.
