Nigerian Man Offers ₦17M for Someone to Serve 6 months Jail Time for Another person in Kuje Prison

A Nigerian X user @JayNaija has turned heads on social media after attempting to outsource a six-month prison sentence for ₦17 million.

Jay disclosed in an April 9 post on X the he is looking for any guy that can serve prison jail time on another person’s behalf.

He highlighted that the duration for the sentence is 6 months in Kuje Prison, Abuja. During this period, the individual will be paid ₦2 million monthly to their family or friend. They would also get an extra ₦5 million naira for medical and checkup when they’re out.

Jay furthered that the offense is state and not federal.

Notably, it is currently unknown if Jay’s request is true or a joke. Nevertheless, the “job vacancy” has already attracted mixed reactions from social media users. While some are concerned about the illegality of the offer, others think it might just be a joke.
