The Boko Haram terrorist group has reportedly abducted 416 Women and Children during a recent attack on Benisheikh in Borno state.
The terrorists in a video shared by Sahara Reporter alleged that they kidnapped the victims from the recently attacked Benisheikh.
According to Boko Haram, the video represents a proof-of-life to show the Nigerian Government and a Youth Association in the state that the victims are being treated well.
Notably, the video’s emergence follows a recent terrorism attack on a military formation in Benisheikh, Borno State. Social media reports alleged that the attack led to the death of 17 soldiers, including a Brigadier General.
However, the Nigerian Army has refuted the claims, arguing that only 2 officers and 2 soldiers lost their lives.
