Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of a new spiritual movement, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), describing it as an interdenominational gathering focused on prayer, revival and spiritual transformation.
Dikeh made the announcement on Sunday through her Instagram page, saying the movement is anchored on Mark 2:22, which speaks about putting new wine into new wineskins.
According to the actress, NWPT is designed as a “global movement of consecrated believers” seeking to experience what she described as the power, purity and presence of God.
She said the movement’s vision is to see believers experience spiritual awakening and become instruments for transforming nations and advancing the Kingdom of Christ.
It stated mission includes building an interdenominational altar of prayer and revival, training believers, activating spiritual gifts, promoting evangelism and helping people experience freedom through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Dikeh’s clarifications
Dikeh clarified that NWPT is not intended to function as a conventional church, but as “an intense gathering” of believers who are consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God.
According to her, the movement will hold its weekly fellowship every Friday at 6:00 p.m.
The announcement comes months after Dikeh became increasingly vocal about her Christian faith and began signing some of her social media posts as “Ada El-Roi.” She has also been associated with the NSPPD prayer community.
Vision
However, she stated that the ministry’s vision was to witness a global awakening of consecrated believers who operate in the power, purity, and presence of God.
She said the ministry would seek to empower these believers to transform nations and establish Christ’s Kingdom on Earth.
“To build an interdenominational altar of prayer, revival, and apostolic training that equips watchmen, activates spiritual gifts, drives relentless soul winning, and delivers total freedom to the captive through the power of the Holy Spirit”, she revealed the mission statement.
In December 2025, the actress publicly shared a testimony about what she described as deliverance from smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation and prolonged anger issues.
Dikeh, who entered politics in 2022 as a governorship running mate in Rivers State, has in recent months continued to publicly document her Christian journey and spiritual transformation.
