US-based Nigerian rapper MsJorji has accused popular dancer and entertainer Poco Lee of allegedly attempting to sexually assault her and a female friend during a visit to his apartment in Dallas, Texas, in 2024.
The rapper made the allegation on Instagram following reports of Poco Lee’s alleged arrest in the United Kingdom over a purported sexual assault offence.
MsJorji said she and her friend, who she noted had attended the same school as Poco Lee in Nigeria, visited the entertainer after he invited them to his apartment.
According to her, she was married at the time and was wearing her wedding ring when they arrived.
She explained that she was only interested in getting professional advice from Poco Lee as she was beginning her career in music.
“In Dallas, Texas, two years ago. My girlfriend and I went to go meet him in Dallas. This is when I first started rapping, and I was trying to meet people in the industry.”
MsJorji alleged that Poco Lee made unwanted advances towards her despite knowing she was married, forcing her to “slap his hand off.”
She further alleged that the dancer later attempted to assault her friend after trying to pull her into a room.
According to the rapper, both women resisted and eventually “beat and shoved him into the corner of the room” before leaving the apartment.
‘We couldn’t go to the police’
MsJorji said she and her friend did not report the alleged incident to the police at the time because they believed they did not have sufficient evidence.

She stressed that what allegedly happened was an attempted assault.
“A lot of these industry men are predators. It don’t matter how much they have. And I’m telling this story now because at the time, we couldn’t go to the police because, well, we didn’t have enough to go to the police. We didn’t report him off, so there was no assault. It was attempted.”
The rapper also alleged that Poco Lee was not the first person in the entertainment industry she had encountered whom she considered a “predator.”
She claimed she confronted him about the alleged incident about two years ago at a Shallipopi and Seyi Vibez concert, where she said she put him in a “headlock” and warned him against repeating such behaviour.
MsJorji said she regretted not speaking publicly about the incident earlier, suggesting that doing so might have helped prevent another woman from allegedly experiencing a similar situation.
The allegations come amid social media reports concerning Poco Lee’s purported arrest in the United Kingdom. However, the circumstances surrounding those reports remain unclear.
As of the time of publication, Poco Lee had not publicly responded to MsJorji’s allegations.
