NRS unveils digital platform to enhance taxation experience for Nigerians

The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced its upcoming launch of Rev360, a next generation revenue administration platform to enhance taxation experience for Nigerians.

The Rev360 platform, scheduled to go live on April 30, 2026, represents a significant step at enhancing efficiency and transparency.

The NRS noted that Rev360 follows special considerations for smooth and seamless taxation experience for taxpayers across Nigeria’s tax system.

According to the tax regulator, the platform represents the next phase in the evolution to tax administration within the service.

Starting from the transitioning to a more digital and easily accessible platform e.g Tax Promax enabling a more advanced, integrated, and intelligent ecosystem designed to meet the growing needs of taxpayers and the economy.

“With Rev360, the Service intentionally moves towards Tax Administration 3.0, an era defined by end-to-end automation, real-time reporting, and embedded tax processes into taxpayers’ natural systems,” the statement revealed.

The platform seeks to enable faster processing, improved decision-making, enhanced compliance, and a more seamless experience.

Recall that the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) officially transitioned to the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) on January 1, 2026. This aligned with efforts aimed at modernizing tax administration and boosting revenue through a new authority.

The new system which is said to be part of a broader, comprehensive tax reform initiated in 2025 will streamline over 60 fragmented tax laws.
