French authorities have arrested a 19-year-old Afghan teenager in Marseille for allegedly raping livestocks in Marseille, according to Visegrad24.
The arrest followed an investigation launched after farm animals were found in severe distress. Specifically, a five-month-old lamb nearly lost its life while passing through vigorous pain after being abused by the teenager.
Investigators reportedly identified the suspect through surveillance footage installed on the farm. Prosecutors also presented DNA evidence allegedly linking him to the abuse of several animals.
Consequently, French authorities arrested the suspect and took him into custody despite his claiming innocence and denying the accusation.
Reacting to the news, several individuals alleged that the shameful act is one of the major customs known with Afghan indigenes. Some opined for severe punishment, others added that it’s most likely a form of racism to tarnish Afghanistan.
Some of the derailing comments include;
“He will get an automatic get out of jail card because that shit is Afghani custom.” Mike Stirton responded
“It’s what they do, it’s who they are” one X user commented
“ Can we all agree that this doesn’t belong in western society? There’s a reason it’s called a 3rd world!” Another X user added
Despite the suspect denying the allegations, authorities said the case remains under investigations.
