A Nigerian man has gone viral on social media after retrieving everything he bought for his girlfriend amid speculations of possible breakup.
The video circulating online shows that the man arrived at the lady’s hostel in a school area with a tricycle to recover the gifts he previously gave the girlfriend.
Notably, the incident which occurred during the day quickly attracted widespread attention with bystanders gathering to witness the situation.
The video shows that the man loaded mattresses, boxes, and personal belongings believed to have been gifts onto the tricycle.
According to eyewitnesses, the recovery followed a disagreement between the couple earlier in the day which spiraled into asset recovery.
Interestingly, the incident comes amid a rising trend of asset recovery efforts by Nigerian men during breakups. While some people applaud the actions, others believe it to be far-fetched and unnecessary.
