Nigerian music legend and Mavin record label boss Don Jazzy has apologized for reposting videos mocking albinos.
The apology follows a recent outburst by albinos on a show that Nigerian skit makers are misrepresenting albinism in their videos. The albinos added that some of the ways skit makers present them are absolutely incorrect.
One of the show’s participants disclosed that she usually gets angry seeing celebrities like Don Jazzy reposting such content.
In response, the Mavin Boss apologized for the action, noting that he knows better now.
The music executive explained that he had previously done skits with albinos and never received any complaints. Instead, they tag him for reposts and he does that to support their hustle.
