The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested TikTok content creator Ukasha Yahaya, popularly known as UK International, over videos showing him hugging and bathing with women.
The board’s Deputy Commander General, Dr. Mujahid Aminuddeen, confirmed the arrest on Thursday, September 17, 2026, saying the 27-year-old was apprehended after intelligence revealed that he had entered Kano State.
Aminuddeen said Ukasha, a native of Gusau, Zamfara State, and resident of Abuja, remained in custody as investigations continued.
During interrogation, the content creator reportedly admitted that he could not recall the number of videos he had produced with women. Some of the clips showed him dancing, hugging and carrying women, while others featured swimming and bathing scenes. Ukasha disclosed that some of his videos had attracted between one and three million views.
When asked how he sourced the women featured in his content, he said they approached him because he was a content creator.
The TikToker also revealed that his mother and several others had repeatedly cautioned him against producing such videos.
During questioning, Ukasha indicated that his family had previously expressed concerns about the nature of his online content. He said his sisters were all married when asked whether he could involve his sisters. He further disclosed that he was now contemplating abandoning such videos as he prepared to settle down.
The content creator also expressed remorse over the videos, apologised for his actions and assured the authorities that he would refrain from making similar content in the future.
However, the Deputy Commander General explained that Ukasha would be charged to court after investigations were concluded.
The arrest comes amid the board’s efforts to address conduct it considers contrary to Islamic values in Kano State.
