“You Can’t Be Doing POS and Expect to Marry My Sister” — BLord says

Nigerian crypto entrepreneur and businessman BLord has stirred reactions online after sharing his views on financial stability and marriage.

In a post on social media, BLord explained that he can’t allow his sister to marry a man who operates a Point of Sale (POS) business, explaining that he would not want her to experience the financial struggles he faced before getting married.

According to him, men should strive to attain financial stability before starting a family, arguing that marriage comes with significant responsibilities, including providing for children and paying school fees.

He said:

“You can’t be doing POS and want to marry my sister. I won’t even allow that. I can’t even allow her marry someone that was in my shoe before I got married. You must be up and do before I can give you to marry my sister.

BLord added that he currently pays the school fees of many children whose fathers have failed to take responsibility, describing the situation as unfair.

“Please, men, be rich before marrying because you have school fees to pay. I’m paying school fees for a lot of men’s children, which is not right,” he added.

His comments have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users agreeing that financial preparedness is important before marriage, while others criticized his remarks as unfairly targeting people based on their occupation.

A user wrote:

“That’s right, Man and woman should be up and doing before thinking marriage abeg.”

Another user commented:

“I dis agree with you no man will leaves a woman that support and be with him when he his broke. It depends on how u treat him when he is broke. U can’t treat him wrong and expect love when he his rich”
