A man has publicly accused his ex-wife of allegedly listing him as a guarantor in a loan application without his knowledge or consent.
According to him, he only became aware of the loan after he was contacted by the lending company regarding repayment. He claimed he had no prior knowledge of the application and insisted he never agreed to stand as a guarantor.
Expressing his frustration, the man explained how he has been receiving calls including insults over loan he is not aware of. He further stressed on taking legal actions against the estranged wife and the loan app while claiming that calling him to pay loan when he is not the one owning is totally unacceptable.
However, his allegation has sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users urging individuals to take legal action against partners accused of abusive or fraudulent conduct, whether during or after a marriage.
A user opined:
“Honestly I feel like if you have a toxic relationship with your partner, now turned to ex—you should immediately use legal means to protect yourself like a form of disclaimer.
Some ex are toxic. I mean both genders.”
Notably, the ex-wife has not publicly responded to the allegation.
