UK-based Nigerian comedian Jectimi denies being sacked over alleged false driving experience

UK-based Nigerian comedian Jectimi has denied being sacked from his place of work over alleged false driving experience.

Yesterday, rumors emerged that the comedian had been fired from work after his video went viral. In the video, Jectimi revealed that he and one of his friends, a Ghanaian, lied about their driving experience to secure a van driving job. He noted that he and his friends were attracted by the £350 payment for the job.

According to rumors, this video went viral, causing the UK-based Nigerian Comedian and his friend to lose their jobs.

However, Jectimi has denied the rumor of his sack. He furthered that he still drove for the company a day before and that he is still retained with them.

“I was in the office today when several people started messaging me, sending me trending news that I had been sacked… I even went to drive for them yesterday,” he stated.

He added that he has also signed a job acceptance letter with the company on April 20, 2026.
