A woman has dragged her church online following her suspension for posting a picture of herself in a bikini on her WhatsApp status.
The unnamed woman revealed that she was suspended from church after members on her contact list shared images of her putting on a bikini to go swimming with her pastor.
The woman revealed that she had been worshipping at the church for roughly three years. However, she had not received any form of benefits from the church.
She added that she experienced a flooding incident at her home and got no support. Instead, the members on her list decided to share the bikini photos with her pastor and not the ones where she needed help.
Just because I wore a bikini, the pastor suspended me. Do they know how much I spend every Sunday just to get to church? They didn’t show the pastor the video of flood entering my house, they went to show him the one where I wore a bikini.
Notably, the incident has already drawn mixed reactions across social media. While some support the pastor’s decision, others argue that the situation could’ve been handled differently.
