Popular Nigerian clothier, DR-TGb, has stirred reactions online after expressing disappointment over the performance of three candidates he sponsored for the 2026 JAMB examination.

The businessman, through his X account formerly known as Twitter, revealed that none of the candidates he paid for scored up to 180 in the examination.

According to him, the outcome was discouraging and left him feeling like his money had gone to waste. He humorously described the experience with a Yoruba phrase implying wasted spending.

He wrote:

“All the 3 candidates wey I help pay for their JAMB, none score reach 180. Owo wọ̀gbó.”

Some social media users also advised the businessman to have checked the students’ previous academic records before sponsoring them.

A user wrote:

“You should have checked their past academic records. Just saying and not blaming you o. Most students no serious again.”

Adding to his earlier statement, DR-TGb recounted how he treated the candidates to a meal after their examination, a gesture he now jokingly regrets.

He wrote:

“I really carry these fools go chop Amala Skye after their exams. I’ve never felt this stupid in my life.”

The post has continued to spark humorous debates online, with many Nigerians sharing stories about students’ poor performances despite financial support and encouragement.
