Nigerian Afrobeat artist, Shodade Solomon Segun popularly known as Shoday has revealed his perspectives regarding the music industry in spite of his rising fame.
Shoday made this known in an interview explaining how skeptical he is, with his looks while stating his stances on office work if music failed him.
He said:
“I studied building tech in school but I’m here doing music. You see I don’t have tattoos on my body and that’s because I’m skeptical. If music fails, I’m back to office work.”
Shoday reckoned on his rising fame adding that music is his passion but having backup in his plans gives him peace of mind. He further emphasized that his perspective is rooted in practicality. Rather than fear stressing that even highly talented artists can face uncertainty when it comes to achieving success.
However, his remarks have since stirred reactions online with many internet users commending his decision based on realistic strategy recognition and professional development.
A user wrote:
“Surprising to see a young artist not being carried away by having tattoos all over his body.”
