Blessing CEO Cancer: EFCC Arraigns Social Media influencer for alleged N13 million Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has again arraigned social media influencer Blessing CEO for an alleged N13 million cancer fraud.

The antigraft agency revealed that the social media influencer was arraigned on June 10, 2026 before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The new filing includes a six-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and retaining the proceeds. The latest arraignment follows receipt of several petitions from individuals and groups, including the Nigeria Cancer Society.

According to the EFCC, the petitioners allegedly donated money to Blessing CEO after claiming she had Stage 4 breast cancer. However, she was later discovered to have allegedly falsified the document she presented to members of the public.

Recently, a lady accused the social media influencer of forging her personal cancer documents in a viral video.

The Blessing CEO Cancer saga took the internet by storm, causing people to show sympathy. This led several individuals and groups to donate massively before she later revealed not having cancer.

While Blessing pleaded “not guilty” to the charges, the arraignment comes amid a series of fraud-related legal battles against her.

Last month, the EFCC arraigned her on a N36 million real estate-related fraud. The agency arraigned her again earlier this week for another N69.1 million fraud.

Meanwhile, the court has adjourned Blessing CEO Cancer fraud case to September 24, 2026. She is expected to be remanded in a Correctional Centre until until then.
