ISWAP Terrorists reportedly block Maiduguri expressway to protest military airstrike on Jilli market

The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a terrorist group ravaging the Lake Chad basin region of Sub-Saharan Africa is reportedly protesting a recent military airstrike on the Jilli market.

A video shared by X account @MobilisingNigerians alleged that the ISWAP terrorists blocked the expressway linking Maiduguri – Damaturu as a form of protest. The protest reportedly follows a recent airstrike on the Jilli market described by the military as a terrorists’ abode.

While the video remains unconfirmed, the actions have already sparked concerns among Nigerians who are expressing shock at the alleged protest.
