The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State and Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has donated a brand-new Toyota Camry to Mrs. Rachael Folake Alamu, the principal of Community High School, Esiele, in Oriire Local Government Area.
The gesture comes days after Mrs. Alamu regained her freedom alongside pupils and fellow teachers who were abducted during the May attack on Community High School, Esiele, and Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School.
During their captivity, the principal was reportedly forced by the kidnappers to appear in several videos used to communicate with the outside world.
Presenting the vehicle, the APC candidate Senator Alli praised Mrs. Alamu’s resilience and dedication throughout the traumatic ordeal.
“The donation is a token of appreciation for her courage and a demonstration of solidarity with victims of insecurity.”

The lawmaker commended the principal for her composure and commitment to the welfare of the abducted pupils despite the challenges they faced in captivity.
He expressed hope that the donation would support her recovery and serve as encouragement as she resumes her normal life.
The gesture has been widely applauded by residents and stakeholders in Oriire Local Government Area, who described it as a compassionate intervention and a fitting recognition of the sacrifices made by educators under difficult circumstances.
Mrs. Alamu and the abducted pupils and teachers regained their freedom after spending several weeks in captivity, bringing relief to their families and communities across Oyo State.
