A woman reportedly uncovered husband’s alleged cheating in an unexpected way, through their shared Spotify Family subscription.
According to her, she began noticing something unusual when her husband repeatedly listened to the same romantic playlist every Thursday night, the same evenings he claimed he was “working late.”

Her suspicions reportedly deepened after Spotify suggested a Blend playlist between her husband and another woman. A playlist shared and created by two users who intentionally connect their accounts and combine their listening habits.
What caught her attention even more was the playlist’s name: “Late Night Drives .” Out of curiosity she allegedly clicked on the woman’s Spotify profile and found several public playlists reportedly filled with love songs. And what appeared to be personal references and inside jokes, adding that one playlist was even titled “Songs That Remind Me of You.”
Things took a more shocking turn when she claimed she could see songs being added to the playlists in real time when her husband was supposed to be asleep.
However, the alleged final confirmation came when the woman discovered that the other user had accidentally uploaded voice notes as local audio files on Spotify.
Upon listening, she reportedly heard her husband’s voice in the background.
An unusual story which has since triggered widespread reactions online, with many users joking that even music streaming platforms can now expose secrets.
“Abi make I go cancel my Spotify premium” A user wrote.
Some social media users described the incident as a reminder that digital footprints can reveal more than expected.
while others called it one of the most unexpected ways to uncover infidelity, questioning the credibility of the narration.
“Technology man!!! It does alot, it’s left for us to utilize it to our advantage.” Dimma Onyebuchi commented.
“Lies, except the man’s Spotify account is logged in on her device, she can’t access his playlists or uploaded files even as the primary user.” Another user stated.
