Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer, Igho Ubiribo, had undergone five penis enlargement procedures at a Bangkok clinic before his death, Thai health authorities have revealed.
Ubiribo, 43, popularly known as “Tiny”, “Denisi” and “Ego”, died on March 6, 2026, after undergoing his fifth penile filler procedure while on holiday in Thailand with his wife.
The latest revelation came after Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support (DHSS), working with the country’s Food and Drug Administration, inspected the clinic on September 7 as part of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Five Procedures Since 2024
According to information provided by the clinic to Thai investigators, Ubiribo had been a regular patient since 2024.
The clinic said he underwent his first four enlargement procedures between 2024 and 2025, before returning for the fifth procedure on March 5, 2026, just a day before his death.

The final treatment involved the injection of about 40cc of filler into his penis.
Thai authorities said the clinic claimed its doctor had advised Ubiribo to divide the final treatment into two sessions, but he preferred to have it done at once.
The clinic also said Ubiribo signed consent forms before each procedure and was given post-treatment care instructions.
He Developed Chest Pain After The Procedure
After receiving the final injection, Ubiribo reportedly went for a massage with his wife at their hotel.
It was during the massage that he complained of chest pain and subsequently lost consciousness.
He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism and prepared to conduct a CT scan.
However, Ubiribo lost consciousness before the scan could be completed. Medical personnel reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes but were unable to revive him.
Inquest Linked Death To Penile Filler
A UK coroner’s inquest previously heard that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism linked to the cosmetic procedure.
A postmortem examination reportedly found material in his lungs consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the penile filler treatment.
The findings raised concerns about the potentially fatal complications associated with injectable penile fillers.
Thai Authorities Investigate Clinic
Following Ubiribo’s death, Thailand’s Minister of Public Health, Pattana Promphat, directed the DHSS and Food and Drug Administration to investigate the clinic.
Officials inspected the facility on September 7 and gathered information about its operations and the treatment provided to Ubiribo.
DHSS Director-General Phuwadej Surakhot said authorities would examine all available evidence before submitting the professional-practice aspect of the case to Thailand’s Medical Council.
The authorities have not announced a finding of malpractice against the clinic.
Doctor Warns About Risks
The case has also renewed concerns among medical professionals about injectable penis enlargement procedures.
Aesthetic medicine and dermatology physician, Dr Mobola Savage, previously warned that the fact that penile filler is marketed as a non-surgical procedure does not make it risk-free.
She described penile filler as an invasive procedure involving highly vascular anatomy and urged greater awareness of its potential complications.
Ubiribo, who had a substantial following on social media, was known for showcasing his luxury lifestyle and had about 185,000 Instagram followers. His death has since drawn renewed attention to the risks associated with cosmetic penile enhancement procedures.
