The world’s first surviving nonuplets, born to Malian couple Halima Cissé and Abdelkader Arby in Morocco, have celebrated a major milestone as they turn five.
The nonuplets, who hold a Guinness World Record title, were born on May 4, 2021, at the Ain Borja Clinic in Casablanca. Their birth was said to be natural conception, though the babies were delivered prematurely at 30 weeks via caesarean section.
Notably, the nonuplets at birth were extremely tiny and fragile requiring intensive care in neonatal incubators. Their survival marked the first known case in history where all nonuplets lived, earning them global recognition.
While reflecting on the journey, the mother of nine, Cissé reckoned on the exciting milestone journey that started five years ago stating how challenging and difficult it is.
She further expressed her deep gratitude to Almighty God while counting her bless, she stated;
“The children are doing very well, Alhamdulillah, “They are healthy, active, and full of joy. They continue to grow beautifully, and we are very grateful.”
Apparently, the internet has been buzzing with congratulatory messages with users marveling at how mysterious and magnificent God’s work is.
There is absolutely nothing too much for God to do. What a miracle this is! A user commented.
