Ilorin vendor laments low sales, blames alleged EFCC and Police extortion.

An ilorin based vendor, @BODYHEAVEN on tiktok has raised concerns over declining sales, blaming alleged extortion by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian police force.

In a viral video, the vendor expressed frustration over what she described as the impact of constant alleged harassment and extortion by security agencies, especially Nigerian police and the EFCC. While claiming that many of her customers have relocated to other states, leaving Ilorin’s business environment deserted.

She captioned:

“All of them don relocate go Lagos and Abuja finish, And everywhere come dry like barren woman burial.”

According to her, most of her customers now avoid going out unless it is absolutely necessary. Adding that, goods are sold to them through waybill only. Also their visits outside are often brief due to fears of alleged extortion and incessant encounters with security operatives.

She added:

“Haha my customers go just dey tell me “body heavens I am not available to visit the store oo, na waybill” I say shuu wetin dey happen”
