Afrobeat singer David Adeleke – Davido has taken a jab a NURTW President Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo over his opposition to the Osun State Government’s recent suspension of the union.
Last week, Davido’s uncle, Osun State’s Governor Adekola Adeleke suspended NURTW activities across the state. His administration explained that this followed increased political violence and other clashes involving rival union factions.
In response, MC Oluomo stated that the state government has no power to suspend the union’s activities. Oluomo argued through his deputy Aliyu Issa Ore, that;
“Today, we heard that the state governor in Osun suspended the activities of our union, which they don’t have that power. Not a single state governor has power to suspend the activities of the union, because we are not under any state.”
However, Davido has fired back at and taunted MC Oluomo, the NURTW President for his statement. The Afrobeat star mocked the NURTW President on social media that he is incapable of responding to the government.
“MC Oluomo wey no fit compose sentence dey talk. Kudosuuuu,” – Davido mocked.
