Nigerian Gospel Singer Adeyinka Alaseyori has apologized and requested for forgiveness following her recent statement in a viral video.
The Gospel musician explained that the viral video was cut from an over 1-hour prayer session she was praying for the kidnapped children and teachers.
“Please forgive me if I have been insensitive, if I have offended you, or made you feel unseen,” she apologized.
Adeyinka Alaseyori’s apology follows a recent video where she asked Nigerians to keep praying for the government. She suggested in the video that the government is working but their efforts may not be yielding results due to spiritual forces.
This statement triggered massive backlash from Nigerians with allegations that she is supposing the government. Other popular gospel artistes also expressed their dissatisfaction with Adeyinka Alaseyori.
