A social media user has narrated how his friend secured an N850,000 salary job after rejecting an initial N50,000 reward.
Abu Aliyyu, an X user revealed that his friend returned N2 million mistakenly sent to his account to the sender. In response, the sender offered to reward him with N50,000, but he refused to take the money.
He noted that they mocked the friend for these actions, considering its uncommon status.
However, 2 months after the incident, the sender reportedly connected the friend to a job paying N850,000 monthly.
The incident has since drawn mixed reactions from social media with people expressing joy and others conveying skepticism at the story. Nevertheless, the event come amid ongoing reports of people refusing to return funds mistakenly sent to their accounts.
