A Nigerian lady identified as @kheji098 has gone viral on TikTok after lamenting over her UTME result, which she believes does not reflect her performance.
The candidate who scored 177 in the examination firmly insisted that the result could not be hers.
According to her, she wrote the exam confidently and answered the questions correctly, expressing suspicion of a possible technical error or unfair treatment by JAMB.
“I did this exam. I will say it boldly, this is not my result. This is wickedness,” she said emotionally.
The visibly devastated applicant broke down in tears, humorously attributing her outcome to “village people,” while pleading with the examination body for a review or a possible resit.
“JAMB, change this. This is not my result. Village people, why una do this to me?” she wrote.
Meanwhile, the video has sparked mixed reactions online, with many users sharing similar experiences and offering words of encouragement.
Some sympathized with her situation:
“JAMB really did us bad. This is not supposed to be my result. I scored 146 and cried my eyes out,” one user, Sonia, commented.
Others sought advice:
“I scored 149 and I want to study Marketing in Uniport. Will I get admission?” another candidate asked.
However, a few users shared even more troubling experiences:
“I logged in and saw ‘Thanks for writing 2026 JAMB’ immediately. The supervisor told me to leave. Later I got a message that my exam was rescheduled. By the time I got to the new center, they had closed for the day…” a user recounted.
Despite the frustration, some commenters offered reassurance:
“No need for this. Everything happens for a reason. JAMB is not the end of the world.”
Apparently, the situation highlights the emotional toll UTME results can have on candidates, as well as ongoing concerns about technical issues and exam-day experiences.
