A Nigerian woman, identified as Peters Blessing, has sparked waves of reactions online after recounting how a pastor advised her husband to leave their marriage.
Narrating the encounter, Blessings said the pastor approached them during an evening outing at a restaurant. She explained that she was six months pregnant at the time when the clergyman challenged her husband and urged him to divorce her.
According to her, the pastor told her husband:
“Why are you with another man’s wife? Leave this woman alone.”
In a confused state, her husband reportedly demanded an explanation. In which the pastor allegedly insisted that the wife belongs to another man claiming her pregnancy was evidence of his assertion.
Recalling the encounter, Blessing wrote that the pastor said:
“Don’t you see that she and her husband are expecting their first baby?” the wife wrote.
However, the incident twists when her husband bursts into laughter, because the pregnancy is actually their second child not their first.
Blessing said the bizarre incidents turned more shocking after they walked outside and noticed the pastor’s vehicle parked nearby with the name of his church boldly displayed on it.
The post has since generated mixed reactions online with users debating the pastor’s alleged conduct while reckoning the alarming rate of fake clerics.
