Scotland’s authorities have deported Kofi Offeh, the acclaimed King of Kubala to Ghana following his eviction from Scottish woods last year.
Offeh gained prominence in 2025 after setting up camp with two women in a wooded area near Jedburgh in Scotland. They described themselves as the Kingdom of Kubala while restricting attempts to evict them from the council-owned site.
However, the eviction efforts eventually yielded fruits in October 2025 after the trio were removed from the Scottish woods. Interestingly, they were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences.
Following his deportation, local media shows Offeh arriving at the Kotoko International airport in Accra, Ghana.
The self-proclaimed King stated in the video that all Police Officers, Chiefs, and even the President of Ghana will bow before him.
During their time in the woods, Offeh’s group amassed more than 100,000 followers across TikTok and Facebook. This allowed them to gain worldwide media attention.
They argued at the time that they were reclaiming land stolen from their ancestors 400 years ago and refused to recognize the court’s eviction powers.
