Peller Clarifies ‘Mr Buchi’ Comment After Solomon Buchi Reports Him to UK Police

Nigerian TikToker Peller has clarified a controversial statement he made during a livestream, insisting that his reference to “Mr Buchi” was not directed at UK-based relationship coach Solomon Buchi.

The controversy started after Peller, during a livestream with Pastor Tobi, made a remark accusing a man identified as “Mr Buchi” of sleeping with another person’s wife.

The comment reportedly caught the attention of Solomon Buchi, who interpreted it as a reference to him and rejected the allegation as false.

Buchi reportedly said the allegation had caused significant emotional distress and affected his mental wellbeing. He claimed that he experienced a nervous breakdown following the incident and that the condition was documented by his doctor. He further reported Peller to the Metropolitan Police, noting that the TikToker was in the United Kingdom when the complaint was made.

Responding to the controversy, Peller said the “Mr Buchi” he mentioned during the livestream was actually one of his fans, with whom he regularly engages in online banter.

He questioned why the statement was automatically linked to Solomon Buchi simply because he mentioned the name Buchi.

Peller said:

“I was referring to one of my fans, Mr Buchi, whom I had an online banter with, not Solomon Buchi. Is he the only Buchi in the world?”

He maintained that he did not accuse Solomon Buchi of having an affair with anyone’s wife and appeared to distance himself from the interpretation that sparked the complaint.

Cubana Chief Priest Reacts, Reignites Tension Between Peller and Buchi

The controversy took another turn after Cubana Chief Priest also became embroiled in the allegations. He warned that he was prepared to pursue legal action against Solomon Buchi in response to his legal threats, saying his “lawyers are like shooters.”

He also referenced the alleged impact of such claims on mental health while taking a swipe at Solomon Buchi over his handling of the controversy.

Cubana Chief Priest mocked Buchi for reportedly restricting comments on one of his social media posts, questioning his ability to withstand the kind of criticism he allegedly dishes out to others.

The socialite suggested that Buchi could not “stand what you dish out,” turning the dispute into a wider exchange of public jabs.

The controversy comes against the backdrop of previous tension between Peller and Buchi. Buchi has previously criticised Peller’s behaviour and literacy in his public commentary, while Peller had indicated that he would respond to some of Buchi’s criticisms after obtaining his certificate.

What began as a disputed social media remark has now developed into a wider celebrity feud involving allegations, claims of emotional distress, a police complaint and threats of legal action.
