Sharing the update via his X handle formerly Twitter, UGO posted a screenshot of an email confirming the completion of their divorce from His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS). An executive agency of the UK Ministry of Justice (MoJ) responsible for administering the criminal, civil, and family courts as well as tribunals.

According to him, his former partner should now be referred to as Ex wife, not UGO’s wife since the divorce is finalized.

He wrote:

“UGO’s wife. UGO’s wife.
Divorce is finalised.
It’s Ex-wife.”

His announcement quickly sparked conversations online, with many social media users questioning whether the divorce involved a 50/50 division of property.
Addressing the concerns, UGO revealed that he had earlier signed a prenup (prenuptial agreement), a legal contract that outlines how assets, finances, property, and debts would be divided.

One user asked:

“Hope una no share property 50/50?”

Ugo replied:

“Signed a prenup.”

The revelation left many internet users applauding what they described as a wise and strategic decision.

Some reactions read:

“Ugo, you too wise. You did the wisest thing, my bro. Only a foolish man will say signing a prenup is planning for future divorce. Before marriage, sit down with your partner and discuss everything—I mean absolutely everything, especially finances. If your female partner is unwilling to discuss these things, my brother, have a rethink.”

Another user wrote:

“Best news ever. I am glad you acted smart before bringing it to the internet.”
However, not everyone agreed with his decision. Some users criticized the move, arguing that signing a prenup reflected a lack of trust from the beginning of the marriage.

One commenter opined:

“But for you to sign a prenup means you never trusted her from the start
You knew someone was eventually gonna jagajaga the coochie.”

The development continues to fuel debate online, with many discussing trust, marriage, and the importance of financial protection in relationships.
